Extra verses by Laura Monical
Mike Bilbrey used to sing this (and get all the campers to sing also) at Friday Night Campfires. I don't know who originated the words, but Mike was the one who brought it to camp. He usually performed it with a spoon in each hand!
Granny's in the cellar, Oh lordy can't you smeller
Baking biscuits in that durned old dirty stove
In her eye there is some matter, that keeps drippin' in the batter,
and she whistles while the (sniff) runs down her nose!
Chorus
Down her nose, down her nose,
Oh, she whistles while the (sniff) runs down her nose
Hit the bottom!
In her eye there is some matter, that keeps drippin' in the batter
and she whistles while the (sniff) runs down her nose
