Post By: Lee Cadwallader The Service Department Song -
Post By: Lee Cadwallader
Here is the service song we used in 1974 & 1975 (sung to the tune of "This Land is Your Land")
The Service Department is your Department,
from the Commissary to the Quartermaster,
from the Business Office to the Trading Post.
This department was made for you and me.
As you were walking, in the early morning,
with your grub basket, to the Commisary,
You heard a voice softly calling,
"Come and get your grub from me"
{note - Bob Dixon did this solo line the best}
The Service Department is your Department,
from the Commissary to the Quartermaster,
from the Business Office to the Trading Post.
This department was made for you and me.
